Back around 2005 Alfonso Hermidas an early gourmet pedal maker made the now famous Hermida Audio Zendrive. It was the very first Dumble-in-a-Box. It was an instant hit and the guy was never less than 3 months behind filling the orders. It was based from Robin Forbes amp. The pedal was so good Robin even ordered one so he could use it for his fly rig. They now sell for $1800.00 USD if you can even find one. Alas after a few years got out of the pedal biz but Alfonso licensed the pedal to Love Pedals.

Alfonso's second pedal in 2009 was the Mosferato. It does not have a  'Klon/King of Tone' type status but was very popular with guys who like a fatter sound. Unfortunately it ceased when the biz was shut down.

Rare Buzz comes to the rescue. The new version improves on the pre and gives it to my ears a bit more head room.

The layout is simple with your classic volume, tone and gain.

CONCLUSION

It has a very big midrange focus with a very warm full sound. It is definitely in 

the Tube Screamer symmetrical distortion family. The often much hated TS 

mid 1k bump shows no sign of appearing with this pedal. I think it would 

work best with a really clean amp. :-)
