My first impression was a Big Muff. The Muff was the first Fuzz of any note to used silicon transistors. It had a tight and in control sound that future OD's have. Earlier Fuzz pedals used Germanium transistors if for no other reason than it was the only transistor. They have a lot of problem but they do sound warm and have a self destructive sound that when under control give a snarling and growling sound.
The Buzzard use both. Not a new idea but a good one if you can get it right. The pedal was designed by Jon Cusack that has his own pedals but has designed for Mojo Hand, Zvex and others.
CONCLUSION
Jon has a big following for the most part have been the guys in bands that have played the clubs in the hundreds and bars in the northern states.
