The layout has the familiar controls with it's Drive, Volume, and High and Low EQ. With the voltage control up you have lots of headroom with incredible definition of it's 18v power supply. With it centered you it is putting out 9v producing classic saturation and compression of some of the best OD's. With it all the way with only 3v you are starving the transistors giving you a spit and of traditional germanium Fuzz.
CONCLUSION
It is a classic 70's Hard Clipper which I have a particular love of. No mater how hard you hit it or how much bass you have it has incredible definition. Is it harsh or strident? Usually! lol
So it ain't no MIAB.(Marshall-in-a-Box.)
If you have a modern OD this is a great second one.Great on it's own, or stacked or used where a Fuzz may be better. Hell ...it even looks cool!
