OVERDRIVE- KINK GUITAR PEDALS Straya ...is it a King of Tone? is it a must have?
KINK GUITAR PEDALS STRAYA
It is a similar idea to a KOT.
No it is not a King Of Tone but oddly enough the KOT has a Marshall Blues Breaker on the left side where us the Strya has the Marshall Guv'nor. The Guv'nor is medium gain pedal and the B.B. is lower gain. Both have a Tube Screamer on the right. The KOT is round and warm where as the Straya is clean and crisp.
Both sides have a volume, gain and tone and each gives you 2 clipping options.
CONCLUSION
It has a very American 6L6 tube tone. Clean biting yet punchy!
I can not think of anything better. It is easy to zero in on the perfect tone
you basically have 4 basic voces and then between the two sides then add
combing to two sides you have a 5th. ten vary the tone on both sides and you
have more possibilities.
You have zero fizz or mud. I can not think of any style of music where this
would not be an asset especially with one other OD/Distortion that naile your
specific style.
Some will find it exciting others may just see it as problem solver.
