This is a take on the 60's Range Master pedal. There are many
out there. I really do not care that some are more accurate
...you can even get a reissue.
This one just sounds good.
It was never a treble booster in that it just kicked up the highs.
It boosts both the highs and the upper mids. It is a booster.
Everyone and anyone with a late 60's stack had one from
Clapton to Sabbath.
Keep in mind it does little to give you a great sound thru
a modest small practice amp. BUT! If put in front of a decent
Marshall OD it really can add that classic touch to your sound.
What's not to like. lol
If it is your thing this is a decent choice.
A decent price too for a handmade pedal!
