A Fender guitar For a Gibson player!

Watch Rob Chapman's video and listen to his comments on the quality of 10s guitars who are at this minute working on the prototype for the first of 3 or 4 Lenard Guitars.

The first is the F-4G. It will be followed by the LEVELER. the IGNITION, the RIC-O-CHET and the LONGBOY.

LENARD Re-inventions
Lenard Re-inventions have been designing products for other makers for about the last 8 years.
A company involved with 2 American a Korean and a Spanish manufacturer.
Who is Lenard Re-inventions???
It is yours truly Mr. Stomp Box Steals.
Paul L. Ewing ....(does the L. hint at something? ...lol)

The aim of Lenard Guitars is to make affordable high quality guitars aimed at players whose needs have been ignored ...because 99% of the present makers have compromised their designs to try and appeal to everyone but please no one.
Leo Fender made a guitar in 1950 that NO one wanted! BUT a lot of guys needed!

For example if your music requires a guitar that the most suitable guitar would be a Rickenbacker and you do not have $2000.00 USD you do not have an affordable high quality second choice.
The Lenard instruments will not be copies of anything. They will have their own look and identity.
But there is no reason a guitar a can not be made to have a comparable or in some cases the exact voice of many high end guitars. Guitars that are simply unaffordable.

Affordable alternatives require the same quality of fit, finish and pro materials. They may look very different as they do not need and will not have all that 'jewelry' plastered all over them. In short very elaborate finishes, binding and many other decorations. These thing do NOT contribute to the sound ...only the price.

When it comes to pickups you can not reinvent the wheel. The guitars will have recognizable PU's. This gives you the opportunity to at some point to change them easily.
For example I would put a Humbucker in a guitar that needed one. I would choose one that was a classic PAF. A good Korean make that already made OEM Duncan PU's.
It will sound great from the get go but you may wish a Bare Knuckle and you would not want the guitar to come with an expensive Lollar or Fralin having not got what you really wanted and had to pay a couple of hundred more for your guitar.
The hardware will be entry level pro. Some will want to have better tuners while another will want to change the bridge. Others will be happy just as it comes. Once again you will not have to pay for anything expensive you do not need or want.

The wood, fit and finish will have ZERO compromise. You can not bolt on something to improve that.
In short what you will be buying is a guitar that will improve with age.
A Lenard will never have parts or wood that is less what was used on the 1950 Telecaster!!!
Most of those have over the years acquired different PU's bridges tuners ...etc.
But the fit, finish and wood were great. Grade A ...exactly like a Lenard.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Most players are like me. I would buy a LENARD ...but I am not giving up my Les Paul or my Fender Custom Shop Strat.
But w.t.f. who just has one guitar
any more. lol

I really want the F-4G. One day 4 years ago I said. "Why in the F. doesn't someone make ..."
Well it turns out that someone is me. I think Leo Fender said the same thing in 1948!!!
Yes Leo is my damn hero!!!
He just said. "F, it." and made a crazy guitar that no wanted but a lot of guys needed!
