This is the second in a series of Anderton's Music's collaboration with J. Wong in designing some store exclusive pedals for Andertons.

Rabea Massaad had a big part in the design. 
It will give you anything from a medium gain to a high gain sound.
It has a very 80's American sound to it. It reminds me of something
Mesa Boogie would have made.

Rabea likes an OD that is primarily all mids. This can work out really well. BUT!!! A pedal like that needs a lot of detail in the overtones to get a really great sound. I find this pedal only speaks to me when it is dimed. At full out the lows come up a bit and start to growl and the harmonics bloom just from the excessive distortion. So then ...yes it sounds damn good.

CONCLUSION

It has a mediocre cheap dirt pedal sound until you crank the sh@t out of it.
BUT ...no doubt about it as a 'wall of sound' pedal set wide open it can kill!!!
No shame having this on your board!!! Cheap or not!!!
