Yes you get a great price but for a MIC pedal they are not an under $50 cheapie.
You get a high end gourmet pedal at the prices you pay for MXR or Boss and even Electro Harmonix.
There are quite a few 'Me Too' clones of the KOT. But damn it ....this one is unreal.
After several listens I find the 'Clone' oddly just a shade fatter. One could argue it is just a little muddy too. But I am being hypercritical. When I say 'a shade' I mean just that! Barely perceptible. I think in a blindfold test many players would pick
the 'Clone' as being the King simply because
it is just a nano bit fatter.
According to Brian Wampler even the best parts
are ALWAYS a bit higher or lower than spec written
on the part. Or in other words 3 real KOTS will
spec different enough
