Joyo were one of the first to literally clone pedals. Some were
good but not always impressive. Others like this are 6 years old

& are still a bestseller. They have fans that have had them on their boards all six years. It is very accurate clone of the MXR Six Band EQ.
__ CONCLUSION __
The Joyo was based off of V.1 of the MXR. Current
MXR EQ's are V.2. Both MXR versions have a mild
distortion but the old ones had a sweeter tone.
In short the Joyo has that sweet tone.
The price on AliExpress includes free shipping says "buy me, buy me"!

Do the MXR V1. et V2. use different op-amps?

Yes... they are much quieter and have better definition. The old ones had more character.
Metal guys are big customers of EQ. They make so much noise with their rigs they would
not notice or they use noise gates so it wouldn't matter.
